Manchu Canon Image Archive

From this page you can access the images from three of the 108 boxes of the Manchu Buddhist Canon.

The downloadable archives contain all the images for a particular sutra, and an associated metadata file, conforming to the MIX standard. The images are large (~1.4mb each, over 3000 pixels in width), and should be clear and legible. These images have been sharpened to increase legibility, and compressed to reduce the file size. If you require access to the original capture images (~6mb each, in TIFF format), or images not made available here, please contact us (lib AT ddbc.edu.tw).

The images displayed at this site under the 'browse' functionality have been further reduced and compressed, but have been kept large enough to allow ease of reading. The 'browse' functionality should work under all browsers on all platforms, but only Mozilla Firefox (all versions) will allow zooming in and out.
