To use the Gandhari Unicode font, copy the font files gur.ttf,
gui.ttf, gub.ttf, and gubi.ttf into your fonts folder, e.g.,

   ~/.fonts (Linux with fontconfig)
   Windows\fonts (Windows 95, 98, ME, XP)
   Winnnt\fonts (Windows 2000.

Keyboard shortcuts have been programed for MSWord. Details can be
found in the GU_Word.pdf.  In order to access these shortcuts you
must install the file Normal.dot in your templates folder.

Instructions for installing Normal.dot

In order to use the template, you need to be running Word 2000.
 
If you do have a copy, the following directions should help you to
get it set up correctly.
 
   If you have Windows 95 or 98,
   1. Copy the two font files Gandur__.ttf and Gandui__.ttf to
      your fonts folder: C:Windows\Fonts
   2. Open your Templates folder: C:\Windows\Application
      Data\Microsoft\Templates
   3. Rename the existing Normal.dot file as Normal.old
   4. Copy the template file Normal.dot to your templates folder
 
   If you have Windows 2000,

   1. Copy the two font files Gandur__.ttf and Gandui__.ttf to your fonts folder: C:WINNT\Fonts

   2. Open your Templates folder: C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR
      NAME]\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates, If you don't see
      this folder it may be hidden.  In which case open your
      Folder Options from the Tools menu in the Explorer window;
      Click on the View tab; Check the Show hidden files and
      folders button, then Click OK.

   3. Rename the existing Normal.dot file as Normal.old

   4. Copy the template file Normal.dot to your templates folder:
