This file has been created in the project "A Digital Comparative Edition of the Bieyi za ahan jing" conducted at the Chung-hwa Institute for Buddhist Studies 中華佛學研究所 and the Dharma Drum Buddhist College 法鼓佛教研修學院. The project is funded by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange 蔣經國國際學術交流基金會. The aim of the project is to produce a comparative digital edition and partial translation of the 364 sutras of the BZA and their parallels. The texts are kept in single files in an eXist database and are realized via XQuery and XSLT as HTML for the online user. The project lasts from 2005-2008. 瞿曇沙門今在舍衛得眼林中。其弟子曠野比丘尼入城乞食。食訖,洗鉢,收攝坐具,將欲往詣於彼林間。我當為其而作擾亂!
爾時波旬化作摩納,於彼路側問曠野言:
欲何所詣?
比丘尼答言:
我今欲詣閑靜之處。
爾時摩納聞是語已,即說偈言:
一切世間中 無有解脫者 汝詣空靜處 將欲何所作 汝今年盛美 不受於五欲 一 旦衰老至 旦 日 後莫生憂悔
時比丘尼而作是念:
此為是誰,欲惱亂我?甚為欺詐!為是人耶,是非人乎?
作是念已,入定觀察,知是波旬欲來惱亂,即說偈言:
世間有解脫 我今自證知 波旬汝愚鄙 不解如斯跡 欲如摽利戟 陰賊拔刀逐 汝言受五欲 欲苦可怖畏 欲能生憂 惱 惱 愁 欲能生追念 欲能生百苦 欲是眾苦本 斷除一切 愛 愛 受 滅諸無明闇 逮證於盡滅 逮 遂 住於無漏法
爾時波旬而作是念:
曠野比丘尼善知我心!
懊惱悔恨,慚愧還宮。
