This file has been created in the project "A Digital Comparative Edition of the Bieyi za ahan jing" conducted at the Chung-hwa Institute for Buddhist Studies 中華佛學研究所 and the Dharma Drum Buddhist College 法鼓佛教研修學院. The project is funded by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange 蔣經國國際學術交流基金會. The aim of the project is to produce a comparative digital edition and partial translation of the 364 sutras of the BZA and their parallels. The texts are kept in single files in an eXist database and are realized via XQuery and XSLT as HTML for the online user. The project lasts from 2005-2008. 我聞他說,沙門瞿曇於今日中夜當入無餘涅

阿難答言:
梵志!佛身疲
惓。汝今擾惱! 惓 倦
須跋陀羅白阿難言:
我聞如來今日中夜入無餘涅
盤。我昔曾聞宿舊仙言:若如來.至真.等正覺出現於世,如優曇鉢花,難可值遇!我有少疑,思得諮決。願聽我見! 盤 槃
如是三請。阿難答言:
莫擾惱佛!
爾時世尊以淨天耳遙聞阿難遮
莫遮彼人,聽其前進,隨意問難。
時須跋陀羅聞佛慈矜,聽令前進,踊躍歡喜,即至佛所,問訊已訖,在一面坐,白佛言:
世尊!我有少疑。聽我問不?
佛言:
恣汝所問。
須跋陀羅既蒙聽許,白佛言:
世尊!外道六師,種種異見。富蘭那迦葉、未迦梨俱賒梨子、阿闍耶毘羅
坻子、阿闍多翅舍婆羅、迦尼陀迦 坻 胝 旃延、尼乾陀闍提子斯等六師各各自稱已為世尊 竟,為實得一切智不? 竟 意
爾時世尊即說偈言:
三十一出家 爾來過五十 推求諸善法 戒定行明達 一切諸世間 不知實方所 況知實法者 若修八正道 能獲於初果 乃至第四果 若不修八正 初果不可知 況復第四果 我於大眾中 說法師子吼 如此正法外 亦無有沙門 及與婆羅門
佛說是時,須跋陀羅遠塵離垢,得法眼淨。時須跋陀羅整欝多羅僧,合掌向佛,白佛言:
世尊!我今已得,過三惡道。
時須跋陀羅白阿難言:
善哉!阿難!汝獲大利,為佛弟子給侍第一。我於今者亦得善利,於佛法中願得出家!
阿難合掌,白佛言:
須跋陀羅於佛法中願樂出家!
爾時世尊即告須跋陀羅:
善來,比丘!
鬚髮自落,法衣著身,即得具戒。得具戒已,即成羅漢。須跋陀羅即作是念:
我今不忍見於世尊入般涅
盤。我當先入! 盤 槃
須跋陀羅即時先入涅
雙樹入涅 盤 盤 槃 枝條 四遍布 四遍 遍四 上下而雨花 繽紛散佛上 所以雨花者 世尊入涅 盤 盤 槃
釋提桓因復說偈言:
諸行無常 是生滅法 生滅滅已 乃名涅 盤 盤 槃
時梵主天復說偈言:
世間有 生類 生 形 捨身歸終滅 今者大聖尊 具足 於十力 於 于 世尊無等倫 今入於涅 盤 盤 槃
時尊者阿那律復說偈言:
法主意 止住 止 正 出入息已斷 如來所成就 行力悉滿足 今入於涅 盤 盤 槃 其心無怖畏 都捨於諸受 如油盡燈滅 滅有入涅 盤 盤 槃 心意得解脫
時眾覩已,身毛皆竪,佛入涅
大悲梵世尊 體同真淨寶 有大神通力 火出自 然身 然 燃 千 [疊*毛] 用纏身內外二不燒
